I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the reviews here, but my family and I were pleasently surprised. We were staying for the week near Mt. Sunapee and restaurant options are limited in the area. This was by far our favorite. So much so that on my way out the door I stopped at the host stand to make a reservation for the next night (our last night in the area). Both nights the seafood was great. I really loved the seafood chowder!

Stopped in after restaurant closed however bar was still busy. Bartender was nice enough to let us in to have a drink. Corey the bartender was a super nice personable friendly guy! Wish every bar and restaurant had someone like him on their team! We ended up coming back a day later to get the lobster roll hot which was as well as the Caesar salad! The green bean fries Were alright nothing spectacular. The steak and cheese was excellent as well! Great prices and great views. Super friendly staff , and waiters All and all we will be back!
We ate inside near a window and had a pretty good view of the lake. Our server was prompt and accurate despite being super busy. They offer daily specials and free wifi. Save room to go around to the side and get ice cream. The seafood chowder is quite yummy, though I'm not sure why it's the color it is. I ordered a quinoa salad that was a good size for a meal. My husband had a burger and thought it was one of the best he's had in a long time.
Dock slots available for boat parking! Note that the lake level is pretty low and because it's so shallow, it's not really possible to dock in the two closest spots to the shore. They have a window to order from outside (as well as a more-formal indoor seating and dining area. We just went to order outside :) went with a strawberry ice cream cone! 10/10 on this hot day!
The Service is great. The Food is wonderful and the ambience is spectacular. This is a beautiful restaurant that has great drinks.
Nice location by the lake. The absolute best seafood dish I've ever tasted- the Seafood Pie. Scallops and shrimp bathed in creamy, garlicky goodness, topped with toasted crumbs. Now, let's talk about the seafood chowder. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this dish far exceeded my expectations. It's not your typical white chowder with little chunks of meat. The soup base is light brown, with shrimp and way more crab than any other I've had. It was perfectly seasoned. Phenomenal. Shout out to Jim for making these tasty dishes, and the staff for being very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
